Mrs. East teaches fasion and costume design along with family and consumer science. In fasion and costume design, students will learn the basics of clothing design and construction. Classes will learn how to use the sewing machine, fabric pattern and selection, basic  sewing, and sketching techniques. Students will need to have a strong enthusiasm for learning design to be successful. Family and consumer science is also taught by Mrs. East. This course will assist students in finding their intrests in creative talents, giving them the knowledge in selecting careers. Learning experiences like guest speakers, virtual classes, and hands on projects will be exposed to students. The design cycle will be used for basic success skills. Fasion, interior design, and marketing sciences are examples of what students will be exposed to.
